From Trailguru

You are encouraged to create a user account to give yourself an identity on Trailguru. Not only does this give you a user page and also use your user name for page histories, but also the ability to mark their changes as minor and add pages to a watchlist. You can set up a user account by following the Log in link on any page on Trailguru.

Some notes on creating a user account:

1. You'll need to choose a user name for yourself. This should be short, unique, and preferably something you would be proud to tell your mother. It can have letters and numbers, but no spaces or punctuation marks. Some good choices might be your first name ("Bob") or your first and last name run together ("BobSmith"). Enter the user name in the Your User Name slot.
2. You also need a password. Choose a strong password with letters, numbers, and punctuation characters.
3. As an option, you can enter an email address where you can be reached in the Your e-mail field. This is helpful if other users want to send you email through Trailguru.
4. Also optionally, you can enter your "real name". This will be the name used to for crediting you for your work on Trailguru. If you don't want to have your real name shown, just leave this blank, and your user name will be used for credits instead. You can change your password, email address, and real name later with the user preferences tool. However, please note that Your username cannot be changed, so please think twice about what name you choose.

Once you have a user account set up, you may want to use the preferences page in the top right corner navigation bar to customize the way Trailgurubehaves for you.
