From Trailguru
Seen something that could make enjoying the outdoors easier with a new feature on Trailguru? This is the place to record it. Please give as complete a description as possible. Sign your entry using ~~~~ so we can get back to you as necessary for more information. To keep this page as clean and concise as possible, please discuss the feature requests on the talk page and when a decision is made, update the feature request.
Finally, for problems with existing functionality, please don't add these here but instead add a Problem Reports.
Feature Requests
- It would help to have a confirmation message come up after touching the "Clear" button on the iPhone. A couple of times I have lost ride information because the "Clear" button was mistakenly touched. This is a terrific program. Thank you for all your hard work on it!!
- Add microformats - see Trailguru_talk:Community_Portal#Microformats. Andy Mabbett 04:47, 2 October 2007 (CDT)
- True search capabilities (just try searching on the word "Berlin" to see the mish-mash that appears) 03:15, 13 February 2007 (CST)~
- I am working on this. Right now it is just the wiki software that I have doing this but I will improve this in future releases. Tpark 01:37, 1 March 2007 (CST)
- The <map> extension needs to be extended so there can be multiple in a single page. Tim 03:08, 10 September 2006 (CDT)
- It would be better if the <map> extension automatically zoomed in on the map such that it framed the GPX data as closely as possible by default. Tim 03:08, 10 September 2006 (CDT)
- Shade route GPX lines based on gradient. Tpark 04:47, 25 October 2006 (CDT)
- Elevation plot extension for GPX data. Tpark 04:47, 25 October 2006 (CDT)
- Add option for sunrise/sunset times for current date for location tag. Tpark 04:47, 25 October 2006 (CDT)
- Add waypoint title to maps. Tpark 04:47, 25 October 2006 (CDT)
- Waypoints other than mountain peaks. The two specific types I'm thinking of are campsites (for backpackers) and landmarks - which can help with visual navigation. Or maybe this is already covered in the above request? --Justin 11:58, 7 May 2007 (CDT)
