Description
This route is a great way to see a really scenic part of the Los Alcornocales Natural Park in Andalucia, Spain. It is fairly challenging, being essentially all uphill to the saddle (and summit if so inclined). The summit hike is covered for the most part (in part by cork oak trees, which give this park its name), so this is a nice hike even into the Spanish summer. At the top, you have views for 20-30km depending on visibility, so this is also a great way to get a view of the surrounding area.
